Your role and responsibilities
Are you passionate about unlocking operational excellence and driving impactful insights? Do you aspire to develop and
grow in your career? We are looking for a talented Global Operations Analyst to join our global operations team at ABB
System Drives division. In this role, your goal is to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making by providing
accurate data analysis, comprehensive reporting, and effective support for continuous improvement initiatives. As
Global Operations Analyst you will play a vital role as part of the dynamic and engaged global operations team,
enhancing the data driven decision making across our value chain. You will ensure that operational metrics and reports
are available in a timely manner and develop deeper analytics for continuous improvement. The work model for the role
is: hybrid ; #LI-Hybrid The role is contributing to the Motion / System Drives division globally. You will be mainly
accountable for: • Data Management and Reporting: Gathering, organizing, and building reports to provide insights
across the value chain. • Operational Improvement: Managing metrics, recommending continuous improvements, and
developing solutions to enhance processes and performance. • Analytics and Decision Making: Creating actionable
analytics to drive data-informed decisions and optimizing business performance. • Collaboration and Integration:
Collaborating with various functions to implement solutions, supporting data integration into global tools, and staying
updated with industry trends.
Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 3 + years of experience as data analyst with good understanding on business processes.
- Proficiency in using statistical tools and software to analyze and interpret data.
- Hands-on experience in business intelligence tools like Power BI, Power Apps & Power Automate and data platforms
such as Snowflake.
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Azure, SQL and programming in Python is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills combine with experience in data analysis and providing insights for decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with various levels and functions within the organization.
- Fluent English language skills.
