This position reports to
Head of SSU Medium Voltage Drive
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the R&D, productization, and lifecycle management activities for Medium Voltage Drives
Motion Service. In this role you will be driving innovation and excellence in development and life-cycle management.
From this function you will also be a key driver of organizational collaboration, both inside the own organization as
well as with the product divisions and other entities. Your responsibilities will span creating and implementing
technical roadmaps, executing complex projects, and proactively ensuring product achieve the expected life with the
required quality and reliability throughout the product life cycle. The work model for the role is hybrid #LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the global Medium Voltage Drives business in Motion Service. To be successful you will
work closely with the service back-end units for low voltage drives, motors and generators, as well as digital
services. In addition, you will be working closely with Motion System Drives in the execution of the R&D and LCM
roadmaps as well as in crafting a common interdivisional vision. You will be mainly accountable for: • Driving the
co-creation of development and productization improvement roadmaps with product management by contributing innovation,
technical feasibility assessments, and strategic insights. • Leading the execution of R&D projects by defining teams,
securing resources, and ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and timelines, while managing a portfolio of
projects across local and global sites. • Creating and aligning life-cycle management roadmaps to ensure the long-term
reliability, compatibility, and availability of Medium Voltage Drives products in collaboration with MOSE and MOSD
stakeholders. • Development and installation of processes within the team and stakeholders to achieve the mandate •
Acting as the escalation partner for post-warranty technical quality concerns, driving resolution processes, and
integrating preventive measures into roadmaps and operations. • Driving change management and organizational
development by fostering collaboration, communication, and alignment within the MOSE/MOSD framework, serving as a role
model for continuous improvement. • Representing Service as a key stakeholder in joint platform development projects
and coordinating investments to align with strategic objectives and business needs.
Qualifications for the role
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or a related discipline, demonstrating your strong
academic foundation.
- You are proficient in English, with additional language skills being a plus, enabling effective communication in
diverse, international settings.
- You bring management experience of teams as an asset, showcasing your ability to lead and inspire others effectively.
- You are highly skilled in understanding Industrial Segment needs for Medium Voltage Drives applications and
leveraging insights to drive strategic decisions.
- You have proven experience in New Product Development (R&D), Product Lifecycle Management (Product Engineering),
Process Improvement, and Technical Quality Management to optimize efficiency and innovation.
- You have insights into Portfolio Management, Business Strategy, and Market Intelligence, and can contribute to
ensuring product-market alignment and growth.
- You excel in managing Demanding Stakeholders with unaligned target settings, supported by excellent interpersonal
and intercultural communication skills and are adept in managing stakeholders with and without direct reporting lines.
