Production Team Leader (80 – 100%)

This position involves heading a team in the Smart Power Division of ABB, UPS production unit site in Quartino,
Switzerland}, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and
safety standards and policies. In this role, you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB
products in a timely and cost-effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.
Your responsibilities
- Leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the Integrated Production Unit (IPU) High Power in the UPS
Production
- Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation
- Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements
- Working with HR Management to ensure that the the production Team (around 30 People) is properly organized, staffed,
skilled and directed
- Guiding, motivating and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential
Your background
- 4-5 years of experience in Production/Assembly/Test contest and Team Leading, working as Team Leader with Mechanical
and/or Electronic technologies
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line (Supervisory experience is an advantage)
- Knowledge of Office 365, SAP is an advantage
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- A {AFC or Technical school SSST} in Mechanical/Electronic
- Italian fluent (is a must), English is an advantage
