Teamleader Train Control Software (TCMS) 80-100%

Our center of competence in traction has an important position in the market. We develop and produce traction
converters and energy storage systems for railways, e-buses and heavy electric vehicles. As an extension to the
traction chain scope, the TCMS (Train Control and Monitoring System) is a strong enabler for retrofit and new vehicle
projects where these products are used. We are looking for a passionate personality with talent for leading the TCMS
team in our Traction Competence Center in Turgi. In this role, you will lead 9 engineers with expert knowledge in
railway and TCMS technology. If you have a keen interest in leading a strong and highly motivated team of experts,
promoting and challenging individuals and helping to shape the leadership culture, this is your chance.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the team in technical and non-technical aspects
- Teach, coach and support your team to enable them to take responsibility for the right quality, time and cost
- Ensure continuous resource planning, adequate staffing and introduction of new members to the team
- Support customer projects containing TCMS
- Support product management with offers for TCMS part
- Establish and maintain close collaboration to other engineering teams, project management and product management
- Drive continuous improvement as TCMS engineering process owner, with high professionalism and strong customer focus

Your background
- Bachelor or Master in electrical engineering or computer sciences or comparable education
- Experience in leading a team; working with people and achieving goals together is what you like
- Leader and team player with excellent communication skills, both in English and German
- Ability to solve complex challenges (organizational and technical)
- Knowledge of control systems (like TCMS, industrial control system, or comparable systems) and software engineering
