Technical Trainer for Medium Voltage Drives

We train customers and ABB service engineers worldwide in the operation, maintenance and commissioning of our Medium
Voltage Drives. This position requires sound technical know-how, fun in learning and teaching as well as a confident
appearance. Furthermore, we rely on your ideas for the steady development of our coaching tools and concepts.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the design, preparation and implementation of the training for our customer and our service
engineers
- You will conduct customer training, either in the classroom or on site, with approximately 10% travelling
- Furthermore, your job includes the further development of the course content and training materials
- Finally, you will implement new training methods like simulation tools, improve our certification concept and
develop e-learning modules and hands-on lesson
Your background
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor or Master)
- Significant experience as a service engineer with drive systems in industrial applications.
- Fluent in German and English – both verbal and written
- Joy in working with various interfaces within ABB as well as in performing presentations and the training of
technical staff from different cultures
- Willing to engage in missions around the globe and to represent ABB Switzerland competently towards our customers
from different cultures
- - high flexibility and willingness to work independently and reliably around the globe even under difficult
circumstances.
