Test Engineer (80-100%)

In this role, you will be responsible for the complete handling of diagnostic projects including work preparational
reporting and assessment of diagnostic reports and results (internal and external reports). Additionally, you would do
the selection and handling of required diagnostic tools and equipment before and during site activities. Engineering
(calculating and design) of high voltage test equipment is an important part of your role.

Your responsibilities
- Creating inspection and test plans for winding assembly
- Supervision of PD hardware installation (PD sensor, connection box etc.) and customer training for PD online
measurement
- Performing and attending of special acceptance tests/life endurance tests/thermal cycling tests
- Troubleshooting after winding damages as well as supervising winding repairs after damages
- Analyzing test results/lifetime assessment for VPI windings (Generators)
- Witnessing factory tests during winding assembly as well as regular review of existing diagnostics related test
instructions, test certificates and update if necessary
- Preparation of inspection and test report for all kind of tests, measurement, and inspections test certificates
- Implementation of new electrical test to create more added customer value, including required test instructions and
test certificates
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of calculation and design of inspection tools
- Knowledge in electrical tests at windings including analyzing and defining further actions
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in English, Spanish is an advantage
