About the job
As Brand Communication Specialist you coordinate and support all activities in the DACH region in the implementation
of the communication strategy towards the markets, but also internally with regard to Marketing and product activities.
You will understand the market needs from a consumer and customer perspective and you share this know-how with our
Central Marketing team to ensure that centrally developed communication assets are fit for our local markets.
Additionally, you support the local Sales teams in communication activities towards our customers and give regular
updates on the communication.
In this position you report to the Team Leader Marketing DACH and you are located at headquarter of Franke Home
Solutions in Aarburg/Switzerland.
Your responsibility
- Cooperate strongly with the Central Advertising and Communication team to develop and execute the communication
strategy (Above-the-line PR, social media) in the DACH region
- Provide the DACH perspective and support the development and planning of consumer campaigns
- Together with the central team you develop and coordinate the media plan with the selected partner agency
- Lead the selected PR-agencies for DACH
- Close collaboration with DACH Category Management and coordinate the new product launches and ensure that the
communication assets are in place on time
- Brand ambassador in the DACH region by defending the brand equity and making sure the guidelines are respected
- Benchmark the competitors marketing/PR campaigns and collect consumer insights and trends to develop unique,
differentiated, and relevant communication messages
- Revise translations and texts and create compelling German texts for internal communication
- Manage and optimize the assigned local marketing budget and share best practices with the global marketing community
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master’s degree Communication or Marketing
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the area of Communication, Digital, Public Relations or Marketing
in a comparable function, including writing and editing know how
- Effective communicator and strong customer and consumer orientation
- Strong digital skillset, web analytics as well as graphic design
- Experience with managing social media channels
- Capability of getting things executed and natural open mindset to new ideas
- Excellent German, fluent in English
- Open to international travel (approx. 10%)
- Open to be 10-20% at the German office in Bad Säckingen
