Your tasks
The Wireless Connectivity Team develops technologies, product concepts and products for wireless antenna applications
in close cooperation with product management, market management and our customers.
In the role as Development Engineer Technology, you are primarily responsible for the following activities:
- Mechanical lead for customer specific product development as well as project lead incl. customer handling, cost and
timeline responsibility
- Develop concept studies and technical aspects of product design strategies to evaluate and introduce new innovative
ideas into the product development cycle
- Preliminary studies, research activities and investigations of future concept, realization of new application and
evaluation of development projects
- Cooperation with internal departments and external suppliers, partners, Universities and startup companies from
various disciplines
- Protecting IP ownership
Your profile
For the position you bring the following qualifications with you:
- Qualifications (Dipl.-Ing., MEng, BEng, FH, ETH) with technical background
- Minimum Five years of experience in technical project leading and management experience incl. customer contact with
strong automotive and railway experience
- Practice in the field of design for manufacturing, Design of Experiments, testing and qualification of new technical
solution as well as evaluation and processing of data.
- Concept development and implementation of new technical innovative solutions, experienced with products in plastic,
metal and compound technology
- Experience in realization, integration and implementation of individual parts and complete products from the concept
phase into pre-series production incl. project organization.
- Soft-Skills and experience in dealing (and steering) with partners, suppliers, peers, negotiation-proof occurrence
and treatment of technical customer complaints.
