For the development of the new generation of actuators, the dynamic Software Team of Johnson Electric in Murten
(Switzerland) is expanding due to some exciting new projects. Thus, we are looking for a talented Embedded Software
Engineer to create value together.
Your responsibilities will be to:

Development of software for actuators referred to contract documents from initial concept to final production together
with external and internal customers and suppliers

Analyze the customer requirements and define the system solution, turn research ideas into technical plans
-
Create functional requirements and software specification
-
Define the detailed design and code in C language
-
Work according to the development process based on automotive standards and ASPICE process
-
Lead, track, monitor and report embedded software design activities and validation activities
-
Create software validation test plan
-
Define motor parameters dimensioning (measures, tests, reports)
-
Interact with the Johnson Electric Software Teams worldwide (Europe, India, China)

Collaborate to the develop the standardized software architecture
Our requirements:
-
Confirmed knowledge in embedded system / software engineering with C programming language ideally on small
micro-controller (bare metal)

Engineering Degree in software, electronics, or mechatronics engineering
-
High level in English and French is mandatory, German knowledge is an asset
-
Team player and facilitator spirit with conscientiousness and reliability
-
Excellent communication skills
Experience with the followings would be advantageous:

Electrical motors (BLDC, Stepper) driving methods

UML for Embedded Systems
-
Communication bus
-
System modeling with MATLAB/Simulink and code generation
-
Digital and analog electronics
-
Automotive domain
