    Currently we are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer for the R&D team of Johnson Electric in Murten,
    Switzerland . Our future colleague will contribute to our success by bringing the needed technical expertise to develop
    best-in-class products.


    Your responsibilities will be to:

    -

    Design and develop mechanical components and modifications for actuators, valves and thermal management modules in
    HVAC segment

    -

    Turn research ideas into technical plans using CAD software

    -

    Change management of designs, drawings, and product-defining documents according to change management process

    -

    Kick-off of solutions for assembly and tests fixtures. Design review of the concepts of assembly and test fixtures

    -

    Product care, continuous improvement and engineering support in case of quality issues

    -

    VAVE of mechanical components for actuating systems

    -

    Follow-up and analyze data from validation

    -

    Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal departments

    -

    Write and present regular progress reports for project managers and clients

    -

    Write technical documentation, project documents and preparation of projects reviews

    Our requirements:

    -

    1-3 years of relevant experience from similar environment

    -

    Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering

    -

    Language skills: fluent English AND fluent French / German

    -

    Understanding of design and engineering procedures; technical know-how of modern manufacturing technology in plastic
    and metal processing

    -

    Experience in applying latest 3D engineering tools, ideally Unigraphics NX

    -

    Independent and systematic working

    -

    Autonomous and organized personality with strong problem-solving skills

    -

    Teamwork and proficiency; initiative and diligence

    -

    Willingness to participate in an international assignment in China for knowledge transfer and best practices
