You will drive the sales performance of the entire ABB Traction Portfolio, consisting of drive products up to complex
Traction Systems. Your main focus will be in the e-mobility product group, where you are participating in the sales
strategy discussions, assigning goals and negotiating sales budgets and marketing plans. In this role, you will below
to the global sales team, directing and coaching the local sales teams in the countries to meet their targets and
exceed customer expectations.

Sub GBU M&S Manager
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the sales budget for the designated e-Mobility segment.
- Developing the business by increasing knowledge of products and markets
- Identifying customer needs and competitors’ offerings through market studies, ensuring that marketing is effective
and that communications demonstrate the value proposition of products and services
- Aiding the area sales organization in determining the best solutions, and providing technical support, product
presentations and training
- Performing sales performance reviews, proposing recovery plans for potential order shortfalls, and producing sales
reports to assist in production planning
- Taking ownership of specific cases to ensure customer issues are resolved, and discovering the causes of lost
proposals
Your background
- Five years of experience in B2B sales, working as a sales leader in the segment of industrial e-Mobility or e-Bus
segment (on board equipment).
- Technical background in Traction Chains for e-Mobility application. Experience with Batteries or other alternative
energy sources would be beneficial.
- Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling
- An understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
- Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a
professional, “can-do” attitude
- Graduated as electrical engineer or similar, further education in marketing and sales
- Fluent in English is mandatory
