    This position reports to

    Product Manager for PL Critical Power

    Your role and responsibilities

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and
    return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific
    area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase
    your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance,
    pricing, and profitability. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division - Energy
    Distribution Business Line and specifically within the Critical Power Product Line. You will be mainly accountable for:
    • Managing Critical Power products from both a technical and a business perspective, establishing an international
    network, and representing the voice of the customer within our organization. • Performing in-depth market analysis
    (trends, competition, standardization) and identifying customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new
    opportunities for ABB. • Translating customer needs into technical requirements and taking the lead within the product
    development or cost streamlining process. • Taking the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges
    managed and of their development in the future. • Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning
    and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketing. • Managing the full Life cycle of respective
    product portfolio.

    Qualifications for the role

    - Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, management engineering or relevant
    discipline
    - Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken
    - Market knowledge of low voltage energy distribution products, applications and solutions
    - >2 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred
    - Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes
    - Leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation completes the profile
