PCBA New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager (80-100%)

In this position, you will drive New Product Introduction on Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) suppliers and
act as main interface between our R&D and our suppliers.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare NPI project plans, identify the resources requirement and evaluate financials for PCB & PCBA NPI projects
- Drive implementation of new products and engineering changes at EMS incl. FAI (First Article Inspection), ensure
effective execution of projects according to required procedures and timelines
- Work with design engineers and assist in transition of design prototypes into cost efficient products
- Analyze and recommend improvements to the production process and methods, as well to the products, to facilitate
cost reduction and quality improvement
- Act as technical support during supplier selection and supplier audits
- Act as an interface between R&D and EMS suppliers
- Manage the product transfers between EMS suppliers
Your background
- Master or bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering discipline with minimum 5 years of
experience, ideally as PCBA Process Engineer
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (SMT, THT, Conformal Coating) and box building ideally from working at
an EMS
- Experience in power, digital and mixed technology electronics
- Knowledge in New Product Introduction and Product Life Cycle Management process.
- Superior problem-solving skills: Issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, and developing recommendation
for an efficient resolution
- Strong project management and facilitation skills
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and oral
- A “go-getter” – an intrinsic ability to get things done with strong leadership and presence
