In this role you will be responsible for deploying and leading the Quality strategy for Energy Industries in
Switzerland for the Excitation and Automation Business. Including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams
with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable and excellence operations.
Driving the local quality system through the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause
analysis, quick response, and sustainable solution to problems. Coordinating the efforts of all necessary local
functions that impact on the quality results to reach the targets for the unit at world-class level performance.
Ensuring that the necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization.

Your responsibilities
- Deploys and leads the quality strategy, objectives, and targets.
- Develops, implements and governs the Quality Management System and related quality policies and certifications.
- Drives initiatives, to improve on agreed aspects of Quality and operational excellence and performance in close
collaboration with the departments
- Promotes a passion for quality and leads within the local ABB unit to innovatively shape the design and development
of the quality area and processes across the organization.
- Ensures, with the support of HR, that the local organization is sustainably assessed, staffed, trained, and
developed in relation to quality and continuous improvement.
- Continuously identifies and addresses risks and opportunities related to the organization and its Quality Management.
- Ensures a closed-loop quality cycle and customer experience feedback to ensure customer requirements and
expectations are met for products, systems and services.
- Performs audits and ensures the use of analytics of Quality data from all parts of the organization to identify and
prevent risks, failures, and non-conformances.
Your background
- SAQ-Qualicon Quality Management or similar Quality education
- Quality control system and Quality methodologies: ISO, L6s, gate model, other
- Technical/Engineering/manufacturing-based background or experience
- Product, Engineer to order and service business experience
- Technology & Product development: new products, new markets, digital
- Manufacturing & 3rd party contract manufacturing
