R&D Control SW Engineer E-Mobility m/f/d (80-100%)

As an Control Software Engineer, you will contribute significantly to technology and product development projects by
identifying and implementing innovative solutions for e-mobility. Reporting to the Head of e-Mobility Team R&D, you
will use your technical knowledge to oversee development tasks and to contribute to strategic technology plans and the
project portfolio.

R&D Principal Engineer
Your responsibilities
- Developing and implementing embedded software for grid-connected converters and/or AC motor drives
- New SW feature development for existing and new products together with other SW and HW teams
- Developing SW frameworks, build environments, tools and architecture for optimizing efficient development
- Provide professional technical support for existing products and solving challenging technical problems in embedded
system domain
- Quality assurance in all phases of development work including unit testing and feature testing activities
Your background
- B.Sc. or M. Sc in software engineering, automation, or electrical engineering
- Experience in C and C++ software development as well as in working with real-time embedded systems
- The knowledge of modern software development tools and methods (e.g., GIT, Microsoft Azure DevOps, unit testing,
continuous integration)
- Willingness to understand customer needs and applications where the end product is used
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (German is an advantage)
- Open-minded attitude for challenges and learning new and good cooperation and team working skills
- Ideally, you also have knowledge of Python, experience on agile ways of working, knowledge of electronics and/or
power converters
