Service Operations Manager (80-100%)

In this challenging position, you will take on the management of the service technicians and actively support the
deployment planning. You are responsible for the service pre-sales and after sales in the entire local sales unit. Your
task is to control and optimize the workload of the Field Service team to ensure an efficient service flow. At the same
time, you will support Sales in achieving profitable growth in the service area. Reporting directly to the local Sales
and Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of nine people working at the Baden and Morges sites.
Your responsibilities
- You lead and optimize the team of service technicians, after sales, operations center and service pre-sales and
promote the development of your employees
- As HSE Responsible for Service, you ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- You will support operations and help ensure efficient processes.
- As a power user you are an expert in the use of SAP, Bol, Innosoft and Salesforce and support your team in the
optimal use of these tools.
- You are responsible for the continuous optimization and automation of processes, especially in the quotation
process, logistics, interfaces and contracting, in order to achieve more efficient processes.
- You will be in close communication with the sales office and coordinate with the sales team regarding conditions,
delivery requirements (time windows) and master data to ensure smooth order processing.
- You strive for sustainable performance improvement in the area of responsibility by focusing on automation, quality,
speed and delivery reliability.
- You will continuously develop new services to increase customer loyalty, such as innovative service offerings,
maintaining customer part numbers, providing product master data to customer ERP systems, and evaluating delivery
reliability at the customer level.
- Maintenance of the installed base
Your background
- Sound technical knowledge in the field of automation (PLC, motors, generators, drives) - at HF/FH level
- Good market understanding as well as comprehensive process and service know-how
- Experience and strength in people management
- Strategic planning skills and high implementation strength
- Good understanding of processes and extensive knowledge of IT tools
- Fluent in German, knowledge of French is an advantage
