    Your role:
    We are seeking a talented Mechanical Architect with a strong background in corrosion and welding to join our
    Engineering department. This role is crucial for our upcoming train renovation projects planned for the near future. In
    addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate should possess excellent team management skills to oversee
    small-scale mechanical renovation projects, from proposal preparation to execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct in-depth corrosion assessments and develop mitigation strategies for rolling stock components.
    - Lead the design and implementation of mechanical upgrades for train fleet.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, including electrical engineers, project managers,
    and procurement specialists.
    - Manage and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and technicians.
    - Prepare project proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource requirements.
    - Oversee the execution of renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in corrosion prevention and
    welding techniques.
    - Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
    - Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for renovation projects.
    - Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.

    Qualifications :

    - Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    - Proven experience in corrosion assessment and mitigation strategies, especially in railway applications.
    - Strong expertise in welding processes and materials.
    - Previous experience managing teams and small-scale renovation projects.
    - Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Fluent in French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
    - Willingness to travel as needed.
