    Could you be the full-time Layout and tooling design Engineer & Capex manager in Villeneuve we’re looking for?

    Your future role

    Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Alban Jaques, the
    Facility Manager, and work alongside agile and inclusive teammates.

    You'll participate to continuous improvement actions in support of the production. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely
    with teams across the business to identify the potential footprint of the manufacturing process and evaluate impact on
    existing and scheduled activities and much more.

    You’ll specifically take care of designing (or make it sub-contracted) the detailed layout of the line or workshop,
    integrate all specific equipment, tooling, machines and work stations including tooling design.

    We’ll look to you for:

    - Evaluate the total cost of the layout, broken down in the following categories: Study (specification, design),
    Realization;
    - Write the functional specification and get approval from the Process & Manufacturing engineers, Tooling manager,
    Manufacturing, Supply Chain and EHS.
    - Perform the costing of the solution;
    - Write technical specifications, have them validated by the above actors.
    - Send documented purchase request, participate to RFQ analysis, and contribute to the business award with Sourcing.
    - Lead the works of installation of workstations and assembly lines, according to the project planning.
    - Ensure the good respect of EHS standards and ergonomics rules.
    - Lead the reception of the installation.
    - Specify inspection operations, handling and maintenance instruction
    - Support to the site General Services
    - Participate to the Industrial Master Plan
    - Analyze the tooling requested and propose the adequate solution.
    - Write the functional specification and get approval from the Process & Manufacturing engineers, Manufacturing,
    Supply Chain, EHS and Industrial Quality representatives.
    - Send documented purchase request, participate to RFQ analysis, and contribute to the business award with Sourcing.
    - Perform the design of the tooling or make it sub-contracted.
    - Validate the design through design reviews, involving above actors.
    - Validate the manufactured tooling.
    - Perform operating procedure when needed and train manufacturing team to use it.
    - Follow-up implementation of the tooling and first use. Perform adjustment.
    - Specify inspection operations, handling and maintenance instruction.
    - Write periodic inspection sheets.

    - Technical education. Mechanics or Automation
    - Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing or Plant Maintenance background
    - Experience in the railway industry is a plus
    - Experience or understanding of Process & Manufacturing Engineering
    - Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (CATIA (mandatory), DELMIA...), IS common tools
    - Familiarity with Process FMEA, QRQC
    - Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.
    - Fluent French and English, German welcomed
