The Plasma Control Technologies division is a global leader in the development and production of high-performance
vacuum capacitors, RF modules and RF generators as required in the manufacture of semiconductors, flat screens, solar
cells and radio transmitters. At the German PCT site , the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.
We are looking for a Software Developer Embedded Web Interface (m/f/x)
The position is located either in Aachen (Germany) or Flamatt (Switzerland) and requires proficient knowledge of
German.
Core responsibilities of this position:
- Design and implementation (frontend and backend) of the user interface of a family of embedded devices used in the
semiconductor manufacturing industry.
In this function you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:
- Development of new functionality for the web interfaces of RF-generators and matching networks
- Design and implementation of software in JavaScript and PHP
- Improvement of the usability and design of the web front-end, in collaboration with UX/UI designers
- Definition and implementation of the APIs (REST, websocket) of the embedded device
- Supporting the definition of specifications within the requirement engineering process
- Definition of test specifications and implementation of automated tests
- Documentation in English
For this function you bring the following requirements:
- Bachelor or Master in Informatics, Electronics or equivalent knowledge including multiple years of experience
- Very good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP
- Knowledge of C++ is helpful
- Experience with modern web application development and JavaScript frameworks
- Good knowledge in the usage and design of REST APIs
- Knowledge of automated testing of user interfaces is helpful
- Experiences with automated build systems (for example Jenkins)
- Very good spoken and written English
- Open minded to learn new things
