    Job Description Summary

    The Aero Plant Mechanical ITR Lead Engineer is responsible for the technical content throughout the lifecycle of Fast
    Power projects based on aeroderivative technologies from new unit proposal to project execution, including BOP scope
    definition, analysis, costing evaluations, customer specification review, identifying scope deviation/clarifications,
    technical offering risk evaluation, and review of codes and standards. During bid support and requisition engineering
    activities, the ITR Lead engineer will work closely with Sales, other Engineering functions, EPCs, Supply Chain, and
    Customers. In this role, the ITR Lead Engineer will also finalize equipment specifications and drawings, work with
    Sourcing on Vendor evaluation & selection, provide field I&C support, and complete appropriate task to close out the
    project.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsabilites

    - Define, review, and manage technical proposal development and execution activities that include but not limited to
    product & plant mechanical system and plant systems integration.
    - Work directly with Customer, Sales, Commercial operations in negotiating technical and project scope definition,
    Proposal preparation & contract negotiation.
    - Review and interpret customer inquiries, project requirements and specifications to establish scope of supply
    limits, develop details comments & clarifications, evaluate & define non-standard product request.
    - Provide technical leadership & training on overall mechanical system sizing, selection and design practices.
    - Work with vendors to obtain project-specific information and quotations, Review supplier’s drawings and deliverables
    against customer requirements, local codes & standards as well as GE design practices.
    - Work, and lead when appropriate, multi-functional engineering teams to develop conceptual solutions, technical work
    scope, and specifications for project applications.
    - Perform Plant Design Reviews of EPC developed technical engineering documentation and provide guidance and
    innovative solutions to optimize the overall plant design with target to improve reliability, safety and reduce cost
    and cycle time.
    - Undertake plant constructability review & Project ERRM
    - Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
    - Experience in preparing the design criteria & specification documents for fuel gas equipment such as Fuel gas
    compressors & pressure reduction skids, Revenue metering, Block & bleed skids, Fuel gas filters & scrubbers.
    - Familiarity with buffer volume calculations & its consideration for Gas Turbine operation.
    - Ability & past experience in preparing engineering equipment specifications for Liquid fuel systems such as: liquid
    fuel Unloading & forwarding, Centrifuge treatment systems, Liquid fuel filtration & conditioning to meet MID
    requirements of GE Aero Derivative Gas Turbines
    - Design of Other balance of plant systems such as Instrument & Service Air system, heating & cooling systems for GTG
    package, CCW system, Fin fan coolers, DM water generation, water treatment systems, HVAC systems, fire protection
    systems, CEMS.
    - Interpret Ambient sweep data for design & purchase of GT exhaust & damper system, SCR/CO System, Exhaust silencers,
    Bypass Stack, Heat Recovery system for intake air conditioning.
    - Knowledge of Plant bottoming cycle system/equipment and interfaces such as: CEP, HP Feedwater system, HRSG, Steam
    turbine, condenser, Dosing system.
    - Calculate & provide mechanical system electrical loads for Aux power guarantees.
    - Design mechanical BoP system for Start-up guarantees of project
    - Support Sourcing during Vendor evaluation and selection as part of the project execution process.
    - Experience in plant level piping & instrumentation design including pipe thickness and sizing calculations, material
    finalization.
    - Familiar with pressure drop calculations, review pump curves/sizing, proficient in centrifugal and positive
    displacement pumps.
    - Knowledge & experience in 3D design software (PDMS,E3D, Navisworks)
    - Ability to independently complete plant 3D model and isometrics design review
    - Experience in design of interconnecting piping, hangers & supports, BOM development.
    - Provide inputs to civil design engineers such as Plant Layout, equipment loads, pipe loads, pipe rack cross sections
    and plant underground networks.
    - Experience in engineering & ordering of Piping, Fittings, Valves, Insulation & special inline components
    - Hands on experience in review of piping stress analysis reports generated using Rohr2 or CAESAR
    - Knowledge of Industry recognized mechanical codes & Standards as well as working knowledge of standard installation
    practices.
    - Past experience in Supporting plant HAZOP studies with internal & external customers
    - Act as Engineering Interface to the site manager, site team, consortium partner and Customer for plant mechanical
    system/equipment related matters.
    - Providing Technical guidance during project installation & commissioning for plant mechanical system/equipment with
    close coordination with engineering team up to start-up / testing activities.
    - Prepare Plant system description and operation concept for O&M
    - Collate and close out all appropriate engineering activities including As-Built and lessons learned with project team
    - Work with sourcing to develop European vendors to support technical offerings for Fast power Aeroderivative projects
    - Support plant side Hydrogen NPIs for Aeroderivative engines

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    - Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering or similar studies or equivalent experience
    - Significant engineering experience
    - Power Plant process knowledge
    - Plant & equipment engineering experience.
    - Aero Derivative Turbine Technology experience
    - Must be willing to work independently and be a self-starter.
    - Must be able/willing to travel, both domestically and internationally
    - Prior experience in supporting site engineering activities
    - Proficient in AutoCAD, Documentum, and PDMS tool suite
    - In depth knowledge of GE Aeroderivative Gas Turbine packages TM2500, LM2500, LMXpress, LM6000 & LMS100
    - Conversant with SAC & DLE Fuel System
    - Cooling system design for CDP Purge system
    - Water Quality compliance & System sizing for SPRINT System
    - TKSI, TKP, EEP & EO Project execution experience
    - Solid background and deep knowledge in Balance of Plant Mechanical systems/equipment and its interfaces
