    Lead Global Customs Import & Export Compliance (m/f/d) 80-100%

    As Lead Global Customs & Trade Compliance, you will play a critical role in shaping our customs strategy, ensuring
    compliance, and driving significant cost savings globally. Be part of a dynamic, international environment where your
    expertise in customs and trade will have a tangible impact.

    We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

    -

    Taking the content lead for all major Customs and Trade Compliance topics like Origin, Customs Valuation, Export
    Controls, HS Classification, Import and Export Customs Procedures, and more

    -

    Define global customs and trade strategy, also in alignment with Global Supply Chain, Procurement, and further, while
    ensuring the necessary organizational structures are in place

    -

    Define and update Group guidelines and KPIs for customs, import and export compliance

    -

    Continuously identify, analyze, and implement customs optimization opportunities by leveraging Free Trade Agreements
    and customs simplification schemes

    -

    Ensure compliance with global and local trade regulations, including export controls, sanctions, and dual-use laws,
    across Europe, the U.S., and other international markets

    -

    Review and optimize the product classification process related to the Harmonized Schedule (HS) for enhanced accuracy
    and efficiency

    -

    Develop and refine trade compliance programs to ensure alignment with evolving regulations and organizational goals

    -

    Assess global trade regulations, optimize supply chain processes, and implement cutting-edge IT solutions, such as SAP
    GTS, to ensure operational excellence

    You are a proactive and creative professional with excellent communication skills, able to convey complex topics
    clearly to diverse audiences. With the ability to navigate a global, matrixed organization, you excel at managing
    multiple tasks and cross-functional projects, solving critical issues, and driving results independently.

    - MBA or MA in law, customs, business administration, finance, or a related field
    - 10+ years of experience in customs & trade, with 5+ years in a similar leadership role at a multinational corporation
    - Extensive knowledge of international customs laws, Free Trade Agreements, tariff classifications, export controls,
    and customs valuation
    - Strong operational background with hands-on experience in customs automation systems such as SAP GTS or other
    - Fluency in English is essential; German is an advantage
