Your new responsibilities
- Lead a team of product management professionals across locations, gaining in-depth knowledge of customer needs,
market trends, and competitor activities
- Conduct insightful business analyses to identify new product opportunities
- Lead the product lifecycle with a focus on continuous improvement, maintenance, and phase-in/phase-out
- Cultivate your team to deliver competitive system solutions while considering cost, features, and serviceability
- Develop a robust product roadmap that aligns with financial goals, market trends, technology advancements, and
regulatory requirements
- Strategically plan portfolio and R&D investments in line with global objectives
- Ensure alignment with short- and long-term business goals through effective communication with user needs, business
targets, and design principles
- Guide engineering activities to ensure the timely delivery of successful products to the market
- Establish and manage cost and margin targets for product lines and accessories
- Collaborate closely with various colleagues, such as marketing and training, to ensure successful product launches
- Build essential business relationships with key stakeholders and development partners, fostering open dialogue,
clear objectives, and efficient decision-making
Your skills and experience
- Technical University degree or higher (preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a technical B2B environment
- Advanced knowledge with agile Product Lifecycle Management process (hardware and software)
- Experience and knowledge of fire safety systems. Major product standards such as EN 54 and codes of practice is an
advantage
- Experience leading a team, preferably in a product management, project lead, or a similar role
- Strong business insight and effective decision-making to secure the success of your portfolio and overall business
- High motivation to work in an intercultural global environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to be able to interact with team members at all levels and be
effective as part of a broader distributed team
- Fluent business English. German is a plus
