Digital Platform Specialist - RDS (80-100%)

We are looking to appoint a Digital Platform Specialist for remote diagnostic services (RDS). Combining the aspects of
cyber security, remote connectivity and advanced remote monitoring, our technical support services are used by
customers around the world. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for remote diagnostic services, focusing

This position reports to
Digital Platform Operations Manager
Your responsibilities
- Perform remote diagnostic services for our customers and provide high-end technical support within the service as
well as cross department
- Collect and analyze data and generate reports for remote diagnostic services in order to ensure uninterrupted
operations at customer sites
- Follow up and track recommended actions with customers and within ABB departments focused on delivering
best-in-class services
- Set up the configuration of remote diagnostic services, in addition to updating and maintaining Service and
Installed Base database (related to remote connectivity)
- Assist in the development, documentation, and optimization of ABB service operations processes and help to refine
and evolve service offering to best meet customer needs
- Support Service Product Development and Sales teams in order to maintain the existing service business and generate
opportunities to further grow and expand
Your background
- B.Sc/M.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent (graduates welcome)
- High degree of proficiency in using MS office and Windows OS environment
- Software and web development skills are an advantage (C#, JavaScript, Angular, Python etc.)
- Self-starting abilities and excellent organizational skills as well as drive and integrity
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps are desirable
- Fluent command of English; German and/or Spanish would be an asset
