Service Product Manager

As our Service Product Manager, you are accountable for the long-term profitable growth and marketing of medium
voltage drives after sales service offerings to targeted market segments, by developing and managing them through all
life cycle stages, according to market needs and Product Group strategy and targets. Working as a Product Manager, you
will be a key member of the Center of Expertise team in Service Supply Unit Switzerland, defining marketing plans,
including marketing communication, training, and sales initiatives. In this role, you will oversee all steps in the
life cycle of products, systems or services, including development, launch, maintenance, pricing, profitability and
obsolescence planning.
Your responsibilities
- Defines and owns the technical and market specification for multiple service products
- Analyze customer needs and makes value analyses
- Define the roadmap for the product and new offerings, sets technical guidelines, determines pricing, cost and
investment goals
- Working closely with R&D to propose and evaluate product feasibility projects and roadmaps for new Service solutions.
- Initiate and drives product market communication strategy to the after sales markets
- Plan product launches and implementation
- Manage challenging customer escalations and non-conformities
- Act as interface connecting customer/external market with internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Global Product
Management and Research & Development) and oversees resolution of customer issues
- Providing technical and commercial assistance to the sales team
- Manage different channel to market scenarios in coordination with channel partners and Marketing & Sales to ensure
best market coverage
- Overseeing inventory levels and sales volumes to ensure ability to meet customer orders, while tracking and
analyzing the performance and trends of Medium voltage service products
- Guiding, coaching and developing the skills and knowledge of the sales team
Your background
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with more than 3 years of experience in Marketing or Product
Management in a similar environment
- Profound knowledge of After Sales Service and B2B industry markets with multi-channel approach with demonstrated
experience of managing marketing and sales strategy
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills to build
partnerships to collaboratively execute business strategies
- Capability to translate customer needs and problems into product requirements and portfolio activities
- Strong business and customer interaction background from After Sales Service, Sales or Project Management with
strong stakeholder management and excellent influencing, relationship, interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of English and German spoken and written
- Willingness to travel occasionally
