Job Description
Open position: Operations Manager
Company
AESA Cortaillod is an international high-tech SME located in Switzerland, canton of Neuchatel, with offices
in Germany and China. We develop and produce automatic test equipment (ATE) and solutions for the
electrical cable industry, addressing multiple market segments, including telecom, energy, automotive, etc.
Exports account for 95% of our sales.
For our Operations Department in Bevaix, Switzerland, we are looking for a senior Operations Manager .
This person will manage our supply chain and oversee our daily operations.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Manage day to day business of the operations department
- Lead and support the full supply team
- Ensure that operational activities are on track
- Anticipate and track operational risks and provide strategic solutions
- Collaborate with the back-office team to ensure seamless business execution
- Oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of
improvement or revision
- Report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics, to the top management
Qualifications / Skills
Experiences :Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
Track record in supply chain management
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the technology
sector
Others :Leadership abilities
Proactive and self-motivated person
Autonomous and team oriented personality
Well-organized is a must
Good communicator
Languages :French: very good spoken and written
English: very good spoken and written
German: a plus
Education :MS or BS degree in business or engineering
Conditions
Worktime percentage: ~80% (to be discussed)
Permanent contract with attractive conditions
Starting date: as early as possible
