Technologies at the Flamatt site as a
Material Compliance Engineer 100%

communication.
In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the
precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors,
smartphones or tablets.
What you will do:
- Monitor global customer and market material compliance requirements for Comet PCT products
- Act as the interface between customers, internal stakeholders (R&D, QM, SCM, etc.), and external service providers,
coordinating material compliance across multiple divisions at Comet
- Provide in-depth regulatory expertise to support timely product development and ensure a compliant supply chain
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding material compliance, in collaboration with other divisions and external
providers
- Continuously enhance compliance processes in collaboration with both internal and external partners
What you bring:
- Degree in material science or electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering, with a focus on compliance
- 5+ years experience in material compliance due diligence within a technical environment, collaborating with
suppliers, material database owners, R&D, and customers
- Expertise in global material compliance regulations, including REACH, RoHS, TSCA , PFAS, Prop 65, CMR, and EMR, with
hands-on experience in compliance tracking using Ascent BoMs
- Proficiency in SAP, including BOM analysis, material master data management, and order-book evaluation for
compliance assessments
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel for data preparation, structured exchange, and compliance
monitoring
