Master Data Manager (m/f/d)
Main tasks:
- Developing a long-term strategy for data management within our organisation
- Developing and implementing processes for data governance such as data quality checks and data audits
- Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management
- Formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
- Verifying and harmonising existing data sets
- Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to
business related aspects
- Reviewing data sources to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within an organisation
- Creating guidelines for data structure within an organisation to ensure consistency in how information is stored,
organised, and accessed
- Developing standards for storing and accessing data using tools such as relational databases and data warehouse
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as engineering and management, data management, business management, or a related
field
- Proven organisation and priority setting skills
- Understanding of modern Master Data Management Concepts and Data Quality approaches, tools, techniques, vendor
landscape, and best practices
- Previous experience in master data processing and ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Ability to work effectively in an international team-based environment with multiple functional groups
- Good understanding of databases and data modelling and ability to write simple queries in SQL
- Beneficial/optional: 1-2 years work experience in data warehousing, business intelligence / analysis
- English B2
