Job reference: WD-0032133 What's the role? As a Director Total Rewards, your work will directly impact the delivery of
Hilti Lead 2030 People strategy: Being a great employer for everyone, everywhere.
The Director Total Rewards is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of reward programs
and initiatives across the organization. This senior role drives initiatives that ensure the organization attracts,
retains, and motivates team members, while maintaining competitiveness in the global market.
You will also lead strategic Reward projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance. The
ideal candidate has strong business acumen and understands global reward trends while balancing innovation and
cost-effectiveness. The role demands forward-thinking leader, and the strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders
across all entities and regions as well as external vendors.

does the role involve? Strategic Leadership:
Develop global reward strategy and framework that supports Hilti culture and values.
Serve as a trusted advisor on reward trends, laws, and regulations.
Program Design and Implementation:
Lead the design, evaluation, and execution of reward programs such as Pay transparency, EU directive, etc.
Ensure the inclusion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and sustainability topics in all programs to address
the needs of diverse employee populations.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure global reward programs are compliant with all relevant regulations, both locally and internationally.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments, making necessary adjustments to reward framework.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Use data and analytics to assess the market competitiveness and effectiveness of current programs and implement
improvements as necessary. Regularly report on program metrics, utilization, and employee feedback.
Lead cost-management initiatives without compromising employee satisfaction and wellbeing.
Employee Experience and Communication:
Ensure the effective communication of reward programs to employees, enhancing understanding and participation.
System Landscape:
Oversee and manage system landscape in Reward area by working closely with the Information system HR / IT colleagues
to implementation new modules, functionalities.
Participate in continuous improvements through regular sprints and release management.
Ensure data accuracy.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a global team of reward professionals fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Build a collaborative, innovative, and performance-driven culture within the team.

career. What you need is:
- Master’s degree in business administration, HR, Finance or related fields
- Either you are experienced and have extensive knowledge of global reward programs, or you are seasoned business
professional with passion for reward.
- Strong project management, change management and stakeholder management skills to influence, collaborate effectively
across functions, geographies and seniority levels
- Establish and utilise a strong external network and recognised industry bodies, to build a good understanding of the
external market situation and knowledge of the external Reward landscape and best practices
