What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner for Core Finance (General Ledger, Asset Accounting and
Controlling). As the IT Product Owner, you will drive the area with IT & Business counterparts to improve and digitize
customer experience as well as add new value propositions for our customers & users. You will ensure the area’s
economic succes and by working in close collaboration with your global business stakeholders & development team, you
will drive activities for grooming, implementation and operation of your product. Your innovative mindset will help
enable business excellence and customer satisfaction through value-adding global IT solutions.
This full time position is available as soon as possible.

What does the role involve?
As an IT Product Owner, you are responsible for respective IT Solutions that fall under area Core Finance (General
Ledger, Asset Accounting and Controlling). You will need to Plan, Build and Run the complete solution that fits to our
IT landscape and provide operational excellence to our respective business. You’ll identify and analyze business
requirements for creative and innovative IT solutions based on business needs and strategic requirements. You will be
responsible for defining the roadmap together with the business team and will work on our SAP system landscape towards
S/4HANA for Finance & Controlling processes. You will oversee every outcome, decision and activity related to a
solution for which the scope is defined. Decisions are prepared and actions taken based on deep understanding of Hilti
Business Model, specific product area and corresponding IT strategy & guidelines. Furthermore, you’ll manage
stakeholder relations, make decisions based on financial benefits & business impact, prioritize the backlog, create
user stories for functional and non-functional requirements, run demos and basic trainings and will own the support
process. Additionally, you will be expected to work on agile approach for delivering fast results. You will be expected
to coach juniors in the area so they can quickly work independently.
You will be part of a global and diverse team located in Buchs - Switzerland. You will be actively working with IT
colleagues in other strategic IT location (Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia and Tulsa - US) and with our business stakeholders
around the world.

What you need is:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or in a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as SAP FI/CO Consultant in SAP ERP 6.0 environment / S/4HANA including interfaces
with external systems (e.g., tax reporting). Debugging skills in ABAP is beneficial.
- Have an interest to work on understanding and defining the business process together with sustainability business
with certain coding into the system.
- Strong drive for success and high level of commitment into the role
